ABOUT ANCC

All Nations Community Centre (ANCC) is a resource that is solely owned by the community and was formed by the Windrush generation of elders in the 60’s, although the centre officially opened on 16th May 1970. Formerly known as the Jamaican Sports and Social Club, the centre was a prominent venue for functions such as christenings, weddings, funeral wakes among other activities. The centre changed its name to the Jamaican Sports and Social Club and Community Centre in the 90’s and this enabled it to become a charity and access grants. The centre closed in 2004 and arose as ANCC in 2005. Whilst the centre belongs to the community and is a members club run by a Board of Trustees elected from the membership by the membership at the Annual General Meeting, usually held in October.

ANCC operates a trading subsidiary arm, All Nations Social Club, whose sole function is to generate income enabling the Charity to meet its aims and objectives.  ANSC is run by a Committee of Directors, appointed by the Charity.

MEET THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees are responsible for the running of the organisation.

Trustees are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.

Each term of office lasts for 3 years. Trustees can only serve for maximum of 6 years or 2 Terms.
